You need to look up Kung Fu Zombie. That was a crazy early 80's movie that had some decent action and plot.

Siskel and Ebert and other “critics” were paid to say certain movies were great, that they knew sucked. The movies that didn’t pay up automatically got negative reviews. It took a long time to see through this for the average viewer. I was always the one in a theater that was less than half full or had 10 or less people in it, wondering why more people weren’t seeing these movies that would later become “cult classics”

It's a genuine mystery to me how nobody has ever made a shark movie that actually has anything to do with real sharks. Like a cool thing about pollution and over-hunting is scaring off the sharks from a certain area, and now invasive starfish are eating an important coral reef alive. 🤔

Actually, word from the younger generations of the family is that John Rad ran out of money (because he was paying for everything himself and refused to take out a loan), stopped filming for over a decade (while he saved up enough money to finish his masterpiece), and then had to start again with a whole new cast because everyone had aged. Hence, the break in story. David is actually from the second cast and was awkwardly edited into the first part to attempt to give some illusion of continuity. 😂
